About Dr. Brent Seifert

Dr. Brent SeifertYears ago something happened to me that changed my life forever.  Let me tell you my story.

I remember it like it was yesterday, even though I was just a kid at the time.  I’m having the time of my life climbing a tree when it happens.  That’s when I slip and fall about 15 feet.  And, that’s not all…

When I wake up, I’m lying flat on my back and my mid-back is killing me.  Then I realize that it’s very hard for me to    breathe.  I’m able to get up a few minutes later, so I figure I must be okay.  But, there’s more…

Fast-forward several years.  My mid-back still gives me problems, but I figure that’s just life, you know?  I really don’t want to have to learn to live with the pain, but I don’t know what other choice I have.  Now, listen to this…

That’s when I decide to give this new doctor a try.  This new doctor does an exam, takes some films, and then “adjusts” my spine.  The adjustment doesn’t hurt, it actually feels good. I get immediate relief, and I am finally able to stand up straight again and I can breathe easier! Oh, did I mention that this doctor is a chiropractor?  It works so well for me, and I’m so impressed with the other “miracles” I see in his office, that I eventually go to chiropractic school myself.  And, that’s how it happened!

It’s strange how life is, because now people come to see me with their back problems.  Also they come to me with their headaches, migraines, chronic pain, neck pain, shoulder/arm pain, whiplash from car accidents, carpal tunnel syndrome, ear infections, asthma, numbness in limbs, athletic injuries, just to name a few.

Here’s what some of my patients had to say:

“I began having neck and back pain shortly after a car accident.  I started getting adjustments from Dr. Seifert, and now I feel better than I did before the accident.  My neck and back have improved a lot!”    (L. S. in Redmond, OR)

“I hurt my upper back at work and could hardly move.  Thanks to Dr. Seifert, I started feeling better right away!”
(R. W. in Salem, OR)

“Dr. Seifert has given me the best quality of care!”     (A. F. in Salem, OR)

Several times a day patients thank me for helping them with their health problems. But I can’t really take the credit because I’ve never healed anyone of anything.  What I do is perform a specific spinal adjustment to remove nerve pressure, and the body responds by healing itself.  We get tremendous results.  It’s as simple as that!

Being a chiropractor can be tough, because there’s a host of so-called experts out there.  They tell people a lot of things that are just plain ridiculous about my profession.  But the studies speak for themselves, like the Virginia study that showed that over 90% of patients who saw a chiropractor were satisfied with their results.  That’s just incredible!

Forty-eight million Americans no longer have health insurance, and those who do have found that their benefits are reduced. That’s where I come in. Many people find that they actually save money on their health care expenses by seeing a chiropractor.  Another way to save… published, peer-reviewed research indicates that the immune system is enhanced by chiropractic adjustments.  The immune system is the system that helps the body fight colds, the flu, and many other sicknesses.  This is especially important if you are self-employed.  And an entire week of care in my office may cost what you could pay for one visit elsewhere.

My qualifications…I’m a graduate of Western States Chiropractic College.  I’ve been entrusted to take care of tiny babies to senior citizens.

JESSICA:

Five years ago at the age of 20, I was training a 3 year old filly, going over basic commands. I was asking her to back up for me when suddenly she reared, losing her balance and fell over backwards on top of me. My instincts saved me from serious injury because before we hit the ground, I twisted my body to the side so that my chest would not be crushed by the saddle and the weight of the 2000lb horse. However, my hips and low back suffered the impact. My low back immediately locked up and I could barely walk. Rushed to the emergency room, doctors took a series of x-rays and performed a variety of tests. All they found was deep bruising in my low back. As the years went by, the pain in my back gradually intensified, making it hard to walk on several occasions. A year ago, I met Dr. Brent Seifert, who did a thorough exam and had x-rays taken of my spine. He found my left pelvic bone shifted forward and a slightly irregular curvature in my spine. After the first month of treatment, my back was feeling miraculously better. Now, my low back rarely flares up on me and I have no problems walking. To this day I still receive treatments to ensure my health and it just plain feels good!

BRITTANY:

Two years ago, my family and I went to Fort Rock Oregon by Bend to ride 4-wheelers. We went out for a very long, fun, exciting ride, when all the sudden, I came over a blind corner and BAM, I smacked straight into a Three point buck Deer! I flew over the handle bars hitting my head on a 6’ tree and landed back on the seat. I was Very shook up, numb from the hips down and not sure what had just taken place. My husband and sister in law came up from behind, finding me hunched over the handle bars. Franticly they ran over to see if I was alright and tried calming me down. They got me untangled from the tree and examined the bike. The front tie arm and the left head light were broken on the bike. I then got back on the 4 wheeler and had to ride 13 miles back to where we were camped!! Let me tell you, when you hit that hard and your legs are numb, it is very hard to ride that far. I made it though, and with a little help walking around the campground, I soon was able to feel my legs again! When we got back from riding that night, I was sore from my head to my toes. I knew I needed to get checked out by my chiropractor ASAP to make sure I was okay. After a thorough examination and x-rays were taken, there were several injured areas found in my spine. We started a series of treatments and it wasn’t long before Dr. Seifert had me feeling great again! As for the 4 wheeler, we now call it “One Eyed Jack”
